Windows = Operating System
So lets start with the companies Apple Vs Microsoft. Apple wins due to it making products and operating systems that I like and prefer.
In regards to operating systems OSX and Windows are very evenly matched. Usually for laptops I will always go with a macbook running OSX as it as the most productive OS for school/editing/general use. However for a PC which I would normally use for gaming/editing I would run windows 8.1.
