What's your first job? by Shrimpy February 27, 2015 at 4:02 AM UTC

I'm getting older and more independent. I've been driving for a while and now need a way to pay for gas. I found a job at a local grocer and am now making a small hunk of cash.

What's your first job?

For those who don't have a job, where do you plan to work for a first job?

For everyone, what's your ideal job?

My ideal job would probably be something like a firefighter. They seem cool and badass. Or armed forces, like a sniper or AirForce pilot, cuz those are badass as well.

Well since I am not old enough for a job, I plan to work in coding and or developing. I find it something very fun to do.

I'm currently a freelance web developer, and also working part-time at a software company maintaining their website for them. In the future, I'd like to go somewhere along the path of software engineering or computer science.

My ideal job is a CPU architect engineer at Intel. I have to create new circuits and architecture for CPUs (in a group of course). I would love to work at Intel in Silicon Valley, but I wouldn't mind working for AMD either.

I've never had a paying job, but I did some volunteer work at a pet store for a few months to get my hours for school.
