Microphone? by Eteh May 12, 2015 at 1:05 PM UTC

Hai there! I was just wondering what microphones do you guys have, is it built-in to your computer... etc. Also, could you recommend me some microphones that are cheap and good for Skype, TeamSpeak or basically audio recording. Thanks!

Just a standard Logitech USB headset.

The sound quality (in both the microphone and the headphones) isn't that great, though, so I'm saving up for a new one.

If you want a good microphone for recording audio, I heard that the Snowball is great for starting/flourishing YouTubers. Of course, it's also perfect for Skype, TS, and voice chat.

I use Logitech G230.

Yeah I am getting the Snowball but right now have the Kraken Pro Headset

Blue Yeti. Probably the best purchase I have made on my own, great mic!

Erm... Razer Kraken

My computer's mic... Mac is amazing everyone!
Really though, Turtle Beach headsets are good, although a lil' high in the price range. They are optimised for voice chat, not really listening to music though. They plug into computers with headphone jacks and USB ports. Not for iPods.

I use the Mac's built in microphone!

Razer Kraken's are good, I really like how their Def type noise sounds like.

But If you have the money, go with the Blue Snowball, really good mic, as Croc said, and basically the same thing as a Blue Yeti. And you can do the same things with the Snowball, like putting a pop filter, etc.
