My Demotion.

I'm making this thread just to address the questions pertaining to my demotion from Moderator.
So for the past few weeks you may or may not have seen a change in my attitude but I had been treating the Admins somewhat rashly.
I got demoted for "Immaturity and Disrespect". I do agree on part of the demotion as there were clear evidence supporting half of it but the other half was just not supported with sufficient and strong evidence. I was given a staff warning but after that I felt that I toned down a little but I guess that's not what the admins thought.
So, you may ask, what did I do? I tried to step up for those moderators, whom was afraid to do so against the seniors, who felt that a change is needed in the seniors by giving them feedback on how they can improve. However, I gave them a tone which wasn't pleasant and I admit that I was a little rash. I just hope they'll consider what I said to them and take out the rash bits to actually realise what's the main purpose of me giving them feedback to improve on the staff team.
I would also like to take the opportunity to apologise to whoever I have offended or treated badly for the past few weeks.
I'll still be around, just not in the staff team. Hit me up on slack or skype if you have anything to ask me.
Eyyy, looks like that new one strike your out policy is finally into work. I guess Admins are starting to do action and not just talk.
And for your demotion part, no clue how it was handled, but it's probably better if you would have DM'd them instead of making a thread as it is probably going to get locked anyhow

EDIT woops, misread a part. Sorry :|
Thanks for serving! :]
Why would it get locked, it's just like any other demoted thread.
And RIP, you were a cool guy and an awesome mod, sorry it had to end like this. :/
There is freedom of speech, but there's just a fine line when it comes down to disrespect & constructive cristicism. That's the end of it.
This.
It's exactly what this is about. You can all have freedom of speech, but there's a fine line between giving criticism and being completely disrespectful to Seniors in the process.
I would like to feel as if I can share my opinions openly without being punished
At the moment I don't feel like this is the case
Well there are different ways of giving opinions. Not saying Eteh fell under one of these but here is how I see it. There are people who give opinions and feedback in a calm and respectful manner. Then there are the people who do it in the sense of talking down to them, bashing them, swearing, and such. If you want to give proper feedback you will not be punished for constructive criticism. On the other hand people do get punished for destructive criticism.
The whole community doesn't even know the senior's side or in fact the whole story so before you start acting hostile towards senior mods you should maybe think about what you are doing.

I didn't talk down on the Admins, I didn't bash them, I didn't use any vulgarity when I gave them feedback on slack. Lastly, I gave them constructive critism and not "destructive critism". Sure, for whatever reason you guys may take offense to whatever tone I use (you can't judge a person's tone off textual form) but if you actually do see and get what I'm trying to say and actually take it into consideration, maybe you guys will start seeing what you're lacking and how you guys should have improved on.

You don't even know what happened, and I wasn't acting hostile towards them.
> "you should maybe think about what you are doing."
It's a shame to see you go. You were a great mod and it always impressed me that you were willing to stand for what you believed was right. Even if you were overruled, you didn't change your attitude towards something, a trait that I respect greatly.
Freedom of speech doesn't mean you have the right to say whatever you want. ;)
Freedomofspeech is the right to communicate one's opinions and ideas without fear of government retaliation or censorship. The term freedom of expression is sometimes used synonymously, but includes any act of seeking, receiving and imparting information or ideas, regardless of the medium used.
Wow......... I know you well, spoken to you multiple times about this, and I honestly believe the seniors need to stop taking things personally, grow up, and to stop tearing up when someone says something "bad" about them
1) No, he DOESN'T know what happened. That's exactly what he just said. No one does, except YOUR side of the story.
2) He very clearly said the community in the begginning of what he said. He wasn't just talking to you.
3) Not everyone speaks perfect English dude, no need to put a simple mistake in "bold and quotes". It's rude.
In regards to your 3rd point, I put it in bold and quotation marks because I'm basically quoting what he said, and since when did I pick on his English? Since when was I being rude to him?

Damn it seems like everyone is accusing you of being disrespectful

For future reference, you usually only grammar check people when trying to argue with someone either if you have almost no ground to fight back and you want to try and gain some ground, or you're Andrew.
Eteh, You were a great mod, I give you luck in your future dreams. Hope to see you still playing on the server. Just want to Say you were a good staff and hope you at least had fun while you were mod.

Vlad said it pretty well. And again, I didn't say YOU were being rude, I said what you SAID was rude.
I feel sorry for you demotion. You are a really nice person who stands up for others. Your bravery shall not be forgotten. Thank you for your service as a part of the staff.

and I quote, " Not saying Eteh fell under one of these but here is how I see it" I haven't been around much recently to ask any questions so I'm just explaining the difference between the two.
Only spoke with you once, but that was enough to see you were a great mod.
