I don't know if it is up, but I cannot access the server. If it still is down, When will it be back up?

Only the hubs are down, so as stated above, use direct connect.

For me, Avicus is up for me, without direct connect.

You can direct connect to a specific server with these IPs:
mczone01.avic.us
mczone02.avic.us
etc.
Once you've connected to that specific server,  /hub it and you're sweet.
