He changed it to that because it's similar to a player he knew about 3 years (I think) on a different server. Not sure if he'll deny it :^)

Well for starters, it's clearly superior to a 16x16 square of a very limited pixel palette. In a way, it's a bit of an old meme too; some people used to argue over my gender before I got on TS/Skype/etc. Also, it is a reminder of my time in Berzerk and my old teammates. And lastly, it's nice to look at.
