Hello! Some days ago many staff members were really interested in creating events to bond a little bit more the staff and the players, instead of being distant. I took it into practice and decided to make an UHC for the whole Avicus community. It will be hosted on Amsterdam, EU (prooftested by US guys who haven't experienced more that 100ms to the server). Without further due, let's get into the info.
That's cool, give me more info:
Hour: We are starting at 13:00 EDT (really useful link for conversions), so you should be 20 minutes before. If you are not in the server 5 minutes before (12:55 EDT) you will not play, this is the one and last warning.
Server IP: javipepe.pw
Map Width: 1500x1500
PvP: FFA. PvP will not be enabled for the first 10 minutes. When there are only 2 players left or the 85 minutes are over, there will be a deathmatch in a small arena
Time: 85 minutes of normal play at maximum, then 5 minutes of deathmatch maximum
Observing: You will be able to spec on death, however you won't be able to talk in chat. Also if you /msg a player who is playing at the moment giving tactical info (which I can in fact check) you will be banned from specting any other tournaments hosted by me
Conditions: Players banned on avicus are not allowed to play.
Rules:
1. Hacking will result in ban and blacklist from any other future community events
2. Annoying spam will result in a verbal warn, then if done again, ejection from the event
3. Someone being disrespectful will get a verbal warn, then he'll get kicked from the event
4. This rules are subject to change and will get a post on this thread for any other change
5. Playing means agreeing with this rules and accepting the consequences of breaking them
6. Use common sense for all you do

Easy, http://javipepe.github.io/uhc . Add a way to get in touch with you. Please use a [UHC] tag in the "text" field so I can distinguish it from normal messages.

I can't understand this. Why? I just thought 'Yay finally another not official community event' and now I read this :(
I want the event to run as smoothly and fast as possible. If you haven't shown a proper attitude and/or etiquette, I really don't want you on the server.

Well, in a small point he is right... I mean its not official, its not hosted by avicus neither...
Also, javi, add a little row saying that Players banned, (in a extreme case) on your server wont be baned on Avicus. Just saying! :P

The list of the players that have already registered to play was just added to the original post. There are some players which need to get back to me as for to play. If you are reading this, please check that your name is there with no issues.
New players have been added; if you have applied and you are not there apply again with a [RE-UHC] tag in the "text" field. Also ProfessorUtonium has accepted to play even if he was denied as a moderator, thanks for being cool :)
VeryToxic, _ColdCraftMC_ , Critical_Bacca, Zeusy, filefish757 are the new players.
You can obviously still apply until the 15 of July making an application at http://javipepe.github.io/uhc with an [UHC] tag in the "text" field!
The last players have been added to the list, if you are not there, you won't play. ImRaging and Stickilas dropped out as for personal and familiar reasons.
Update: I hate to say this upon such short notice, but I'm typing this on my mobile device because my house just got a power outage. I'm REALLY sorry that I'm unable to attend due to these unforeseen circumstances, especially as I committed to being one of the moderators here.
If we host another one in the near future, I will be sure to make every effort to make it.
