Avipack?!?!?!? NEW TEXTURE PACK???? by EncryptedShoesHD December 5, 2015 at 6:12 PM UTC

Hi guys!

So, recently I decided to create Avipack which is going to be texture pack for all Avicus players. It's going to be 128x128. So, after the arrow is done, first version of Avipack will be released. What do you guys think about that?

Also, I'm thinking of moving "Avicus" text on third image a bit higher (maybe to the middle). What do you guys think? Should I move text up and add ip text?

As Phyre said try a different font. That font just isn't avicus themed :)

Will Avicus related gags and running jokes be in it?
And will items be renamed or kept the same?

Well snow, I think that names can be renamed only with plugins. I'm not sure, but I've never tried to change name with texture pack. Where do you want to include jokes and gags?

he/she is correct (sorry I don't know you, don't want to be gender inconsiderate xd) the only way to change the names of items is via the plugin, it cannot be done in a texture/resource pack. you can however change sounds of things and  looks of items. you could also add things to normal minecraft, like the main menu page you can have custom sayings - like the red sayings that appear random on the main screen, yea you can customize that :o - and you can also have custom sounds, which I know how to do as well :)

Since I love discovering computer functions I found a way how to change name of an item to something custom. By the way, I am male. I already know about changing sounds. And of course, if you have ideas on what I should add or do in my texture pack, suggest it!

You can rename items (And more) in resource packs by editing the lang file,  and the sayings on the title screen are called splash text :p

I know that I need to edit en-US.lang if I want to change item names. Also I know about splash texts, I'm using them when creating minecraft mods. Any suggestions for avipack??
