I'll have to say that the lots of lots of other changes at the bottom is a pretty big part of what happened in 1.8.

Didn't really look forward to anything this update, but it's cool I guess. All my irl friends are like "BUNNIEZ OMG ARMOR STANDS YAY LELELEL" but... meh.

EDIT: Nvm, my beloved spunge finally becomes somewhat useful <3

Avicus will accept 1.8 client users as soon as Bukkit pushes for an update (hopefully).
Back on topic:
1.8 is one of the most laggiest updates to date (in my opinion). In singleplayer, I am experiencing FPS lag...
