Sorry but I don't like this idea.
Also, how would it work if the person is a Gold rank (for example) and they are also a veteran? How will that show up?

There already is "Veteran" rank, it is for people who get 5th prestige in every game mode.

I do not think there is a need for this.

You can be a vet by having 5'th prestige in every gamemode as D00ZiE stated above.
