So nobodys going to listen to me cuz im fairly inactive on da forums but here is a list of things alot of people i know want back or added

-Blood Effect
-Staff can use /disguise so that hackers cant toggle and untoggle when a mod logs on.
-/stats 1game
-make it so that on a full game donors can actually joi instead of having a sign saying "maximum player achieved" ( or something alike
-more mods(alot of people complain about too many hackers)
-give dev_revs a 2nd chance

remove 1.7 support, pretty much pointless
randomize the rotations or something, would make games more fun
remove aardvark or improve aardvark, that map gets seriously frustrating.

We don't need more mods and there isn't a big enough player count to consider using prestiges anymore though Avicus put this upon itself by removing them and this destroyed the player count anyway.

Stats for 1 game should also be back like why did that get taken away?

The reason why this is here is A) to prevent ridiculous amounts of lag, and B) because there is a limit to the amount of people who can play on one server.

This is not going to solve anything whatsoever. This method has been tried 3 times already, and the staff team is over-saturated.

Whoa whoa whoa, hold on there. No offence to Dev, but a lot of people were also complaining about his behaviour, both on the forums and in the Staff Slack. When he cleans this up, THEN he should get another chance.


-PRESTIGE:
People need to stop bringing this up. The owner of the server explicitly stated that he will NOT bring prestiges back. It takes too much time to create new badges for every prestige level, only to have to add more once people reach the maximum prestige level.

Since avicus has like 10 players it would be a good idea. Seeing as that only 1 game is ever played at a time. People leave if they cant join.

 Prestige is the only thing that would make me come back. Instead of adding 1.7 support why not give resources to adding prestiges back. 1. Adds a reason to play. 2. Increases longevity. Not to mention, its just a matter of finding new symbols for prestiges.

My 99 cents on these issues:
The 1.7 Update
: I personally have no lag issues or anything caused by the addition of the 1.7 update being added like other users, but there are a lot of people who complain about it.  I saw it as a pointless addition, I see it as achieving absolutely nothing, I don't play that update anyway even though it is better for pvp, I just stay with the times.
Map Rotations:
I would disagree on the map rotation part as people's interests differ into what maps they like.  There is no way to know for certain if the map is really hated or not.  Personally I like Aardvark, it may be frustrating and could be improved but removing maps from rotation would not help.  Maybe adding more variety in the maps would be nice instead of repetitive rotations of the same maps over and over again. 
The understaffing issue: We already have more than enough mods for the player base, we just need them to step up there activity when they can. 
/vanish for staff: Staff should be able to have vanish but where it could not be abused, where they go around killing people would be terrible and abusive, if there were a way to avoid that potential flaw then I might support that, but I don't want people messing up my hard work of keeping up my kdr. 
Stats 1 game: I would like to know for stats for a game and agree with that idea.
Gory Gameplay: Blood effect is a terrible idea for the younger gamers in the community, just a bad idea as a lot of younger gamers play avicus.  Just because more young kids play violent game these days does not mean that we should make add blood effects. 
Dev_Revs second chance: On dev_revs getting a second chance, I know who he is but I don't know what you are talking about having a "second chance".
Prestige: A prestige system might not be bad, but there would be a problem with people reaching the maximum prestige and complaining and griping all over the forums, in game, etc. about not being able to go up, but it no doubt was popular in the past, with that one I don't really feel strongly against but I am not strongly for either. 
I am neutral on the prestige issue. 
Conclusion: I just decided as a part of the community to share my views on these discussed issues.  Giving my feedback, it might be in contrast to other users feedback.  I have my own opinions and just wanted to share them.  They were my 99 cents.

blood particles are literally just red squares that pop up when damage is taken and I don't see a problem with that

Won't necessarily fix the problem. Getting staff from different timezones could help though, but it's understandable if this can't really be done

Bye /vanish, i mean like /nick. so the Mod changes their name temporarily like /disguise bobby and they loose the "MOD" prefix by their name. Example:

Urpleglurp: /report Hacker fly bhop fly ka antikb
*Mod logs on
*Hacker toggles turning off all hacks
MOD: /nick mary
*Hacker (thinking) Ayy the mods gone. 
*turns hacks on
MOD: /ban Hacker fly ka anti kb bhop
 
I dont mean they actually disapear 

 Also the blood effect will be togglable.

We appreciate your feedback and suggestions, and I will try my best to give you an honest response to each. 

Blood effect. This was removed silently, and no one knows why, not even us. It will be awesome to see it return as it did actually help us identify auto clickers with accuracy. I will see what a developer has to say about this, because majority of the time, there is reason with everything they do.

Vanish. This has actually been in discussion for a while with the staff members, and there is a fairly positive response internally. I'll see what the developers say about this... I don't really see any issue with it. If it were to be abused we can easily monitored usage and take action on those who misuse it.

Stats. Is /match not working anymore? I could have sworn that showed statistics per game. 

Donor privileges. 
This is actually a feature that was implemented to deter and prevent team stacking. We do not want donators allnstackingnon one team, to an extent where it is unfair. For example, one team may be filled with 20 players, most of them donators while the other team only has 10 or less. It has been an issue, and I do not believe we need to revert this change. However it is very possible to change the limit of players allowed per map by changing a configuration in the XML. 

More moderators. 
We are reluctant to recruit moderators OFTEN, because of the possible surplus of staff compared to the players we get per day. People need to understand that moderating is not a job, it is volunteer work, so that means we cannot force people to do their job at specific times because they may be busy in real life. We understand your frustrations, and we are discussion it internally: what can we do to accomodate timezones more effectively? I believe the moderation team is doing a fantastic job staying dedicated and loyal to the server, trying to come online whenever possible. Wherever you go, players who cause trouble to others are always present, and it is very difficult to catch every single one of them. That is why we require your assistance in reporting them online.

Dev_revs. I do not want to comment on this as I do not have control over his status, however it would be good to see him return as he is one of the most dedicated players on Avicus, and as far as I am concerned he did a very good job covering the tournaments as a streamer.

Prestiges. They are not returning. I got confirmation by Keenan months ago about this, and he said that badges and Prestiges would conflict. Don't know if he has changed his mind about this, but over the few years we have switched between Prestiges and badges.

i suppose it's harder to sell "exclusive prestiges" in the "donation" store

As long as staff doesn't care what community says, this server keep getting worse. People say 'Prestiges was the only reason I was playing.' And staff keeps 'We will not bring it back!" You want people to join and play on your server, but you don't fucking care what they need, or how  they would enjoy more. Then they just bring shit game modes and no one even plays it. Every time they bring a new game mode they fail, no one likes it. If you want people to join your server and make some money, YOU SHOULD LEARN TO LISTEN TO THEM!!!

We do listen to the community, but there are some things we cannot do. If we were to implement everything suggested Avicus would be in a much worse state than it currently is in. We do listen to the community, but there are some things we cannot do. If we were to implement everything suggested Avicus would be in a much worse state than it currently is in. Also, keep in mind that when we do implement suggestions, such as new game modes or bringing them back... No one plays them. Everyone wanted skywars and nexus back, but it is empty 99% of its uptime. Do you understand what perspective we are coming from?

I stated why in the comment above your original one! :P I said that it will conflict with the current badge system we have in place. I don't necessarily believe it's a bad idea to bring it back, but in terms of logistics and development force I do not think it is possible.

Im on with skywars, but nexus is avtually played on mix so u cant say nexus is empty, and it works great on mix...

When Nexus got added back people played it, but the neglect for Nexus and CTH and not fixing the glitch that was there for well over 2 years(may be less) is why people stopped playing it. Deathmatch is pretty much Nexus but missing a lot of maps and with shitty kits and it gets played  still, obviously not as much as Nebula. A lot of the Nexus/CTH players have left since the glitch(not necessarily the reason people left but a factor). Skywars was a cool idea but didn't work rip. Another thing (instead of replying again I'll just add this) is that I'm sure there's ways to add prestiges and badges, there have been countless suggestions, one being to use a number instead of a symbol and that wouldn't conflict(I wouldn't think atleast), I mean re adding the separate XP would be something that would take a while maybe but still. Also I never understood why he removed prestiges because of not being able to keep adding more, like who says you have to? He could have left it as it was, i mean everything has an end yakno

PRESTIGES DO NOT HAVE TO BE INFINITE



the devs/staff just need to stop screwing about with 1.7 and bring back prestiges, which are basically guaranteed to bring back people and keep them playing, which will boost player counts which will lead to even higher player counts. yet every time, "oh owner said no cause he didnt want to keep making prestiges". just make a set amount, and tell the >1% no-lifers who reach max prestige to fuck off if they ask for more. it just makes no sense that avicus staff will go so far to pander to those people who get stupid high prestiges that they just won't do them at all. in fact, it's almost as if they want avicus to die...
