Audio Softwares by Rubikscrafter December 2, 2015 at 9:12 PM UTC

I recently got windows movie maker to make YouTube videos, but I have no audio software that works (the voice recorder that comes with windows 10 doesn't work for some reason). So I wanted to get one that works, and has good audio quality. Any suggestions would be appreciated :)

I would say Audacity
Note: I never used it before, I just know you can record and play around with music.

Audacity is good! I use it to record my voice for some of my videos. You can visit the website here

Can someone tell me how to paste into Windows Movie Maker? Maybe I am doing it wrong, but when I put the audio file in Movie Maker an error message pops up saying that MM does not support those files. Do I need a different audio software, or am I doing something wrong?

I have no idea, actually if I ever make a video on YouTube I use my phone as a microphone because my headset is trash. I just email the file to myself and it drops right in to Movie Maker. Maybe make sure in Audacity that you save the file as a .mp3 one, that's all I can think of.

When you save it there should be a thing that lets you choose the format. Maybe just change the filename in the save bar to "blahblah.mp3". Idk, I've never used the software.

Doesn't work, sadly.
