To answer your question, teams are for when the tournament happens. You can make a team to compete against others teams in the tournament. :)

This it totally not related to the question, however, it is related to the topic about teams. Anyway, I have a bit of a concern about the limitations as to the number of members per team. Apparently, you can only have 16 members in a team. Is it possible to bump this up to a few more members?
