Help Fixing a Glitch by BoldAndBrash June 5, 2015 at 9:06 PM UTC

So recently, I noticed that when I go on my PC and try to break blocks, my sensitivity jumps up to hyperspeed. I tried changing my breaking button to R, and it didn't happen when I did that.

I have used a total of 2 mice and both of them did this. It pretty much makes it impossible to play.

Any ideas on how to fix this?

Well, I have kind of a similar glitch/bug.
Everytime I hit "<" minecraft takes a screenshot..

Reset your Windows sensitivity, re-install MC or adjust your mouse's DPI.
That should solve your problem.

I tried each of those and none of them worked. Thanks anyways.

An update on the situation.

It still hasn't been fixed and I've found it only happens on Minecraft. All my other games work perfectly fine.
Any more ideas?

Only advice i have which fixed a problem for me is...

Right click on Mc go to Properties
Go to Compatibility
Make sure the program is running in compatibility mode for whatever system you use.
Tick , run as administrator.

Worked for me.

Mouse / Mice? and is this only in minecraft or if you hold down a button on any program does it do this?

BoldAndBrash June 7, 2015 at 6:06 PM UTC

@Pizza I'll try that, thanks!

@BmB I've used two mice and both did this. It only happens on Minecraft. But, when I play minecraft on my laptop its 100% fine.

Check what button you have set on settings. If that didn't help, try to update to another version.

Well it's a problem with your PC uninstall MC, uninstall java, re-install both and play with no OF or mods. See if you still glitch. If you don't try with your usual mods, see if you glitch, if you don't then fine. If you do still glitch then idek.
