actually not everyone can, ive tried that before to troll, you have to contact wikipedia and then you have to go through this GIANT PROCESS proving you are certified for what you are writing and that you know what you are writing

To edit minor Wikipedia articles, you must have a Wikipedia account.
To edit major Wikipedia articles, you must have made 10 or more correct suggestions for revisions to major articles before you are certified to edit any article. People that "troll" following this grant of privilege are banned from further editing Wikipedia articles.
For example, my school is IP-banned from editing Wikipedia articles. Figures.
