Cant Play a MC Server :(

I tried logging into a couple of servers including avicus. But everytime it times out or says "Authentication servers are down. Please try again later, sorry!" Is anybody else getting this? Or do any of you guys know how to fix it?
EDIT : Now its down for maintence :(

Don't worry, it's just minecraft. Minecraft sessions are down, but will most likely be up soon! :D
