Recording software by veryangerydoggo May 3, 2015 at 7:05 PM UTC

I tweaked my laptop a bit and now I get decent FPS so I thought I might make an avicus montage. Anyways, I was wondering if anyone new a recording software for windows that can record small screen windows.

For recording I recommend OBS.

For rendering I recommend  VSDC Free Video Editor.

The most people render their videos to make the file size lower.

xSplit is a great recording software, remember to get the gamecaster one though. https://www.xsplit.com/download

Either use cracked fraps or OBS, render your videos to make the file size smaller which takes up less computer memory and it means you can upload your video quicker.

Obs and Adobe premiere would make it for Windows.

What's it called, and will it record in 720p?

I use Fraps, but my framerate significantly lowers when I use it.

I would recommend Camtasia Studio, as you can both record, and edit with it.
