What type of dog would you get? by vladthegreat100 June 14, 2015 at 6:06 PM UTC

SO. My dad's birthday is coming up and my mom and I want to get a dog for him and we don't know where to get one. We would have gotten one in the earlier years but my dad has anger issues and freaks out on the tiniest things until he figures out he was wrong xd. And we know he loves dogs but due to the anger issue we never got him one. And what is not the best time to get him dog than on his birthday?

My question is, what type of dog would you get? And for what reason. We are hoping to get a small dog at least.

Thanks for the help!

German Shepard or a Golden Retriever

^^^^Keep it classy

Pelpelajax June 14, 2015 at 6:06 PM UTC

It's not particularly small, but it's reall loving and sweet, a Golden Retriever.

Since I was small, I've always wanted a Dachshund.

EDIT: I also agree with Pelp and Cyanide. They're just adorable. <3

I would like to have a horse, but anyways.

Deal with it.

All of them.

EDIT: But really, if you want a small one, a dachshund or pug would be nice. If you want something noisy, get a chihuahua.

Totally agree. Get a lab or Golden Retriever, both great dogs.

beau·ti·ful
ˈbyo͞odəfəl/
adjective
  1. pleasing the senses or mind aesthetically.
    "beautiful poetry"
    • of a very high standard; excellent.
"the house had been left in beautiful order"

Spartemex June 14, 2015 at 9:06 PM UTC

German Shepherd

I know its big, but it is athletic, smart and loyal. The only health problems it is prone to is hip dysplasia.

FrozenSolstice June 14, 2015 at 9:06 PM UTC

German Shepherd, Australian Terrier or Border Collie.

But both the Shepherd and Terrier are very headstrong, they like to call the shots.

Petlas June 14, 2015 at 9:06 PM UTC

Pug, Blue Heeler or Beagle.

All adorable, loyal and not too much of a pesk.

Retired German Sheppard Police Dog

I used to have one and they personally are very lovable, disciplined, and it's nice to give them a home after a strenuous work-life. :)
