IGN - nintendoboy11 Skype - nintendoboy11 Timezone - EST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - To be honest, I haven't really contributed to the mapping community but hopefully I can contribute by judging maps and other things. How could you benefit the Team? - I could benefit the team by always showing up for things because I have a lot of free time after school and on weekends. I can also benefit the team by getting along with everyone because I get along with people. What are you're motives for joining this team? - To just have a great time on the team and help out in the community by doing something.
IGN - Eako Skype - dabadger.swegginton Timezone - EST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - Given lots of feedback to both the actual map dev team and a bunch of maps. I have also attempted making my own maps and thought some people a few World Edit tricks. I have contributed to a few maps with some really great people. When I create a map, I spend quite a lot of time on it. Also, I'm trying to teach myself some more YAML so I can release my maps quicker. How could you benefit the Team? - When a map needs some changes, I give detailed replies telling the creator exactly how they can make their map better. I always try to give both positive and negative feedback when rating maps. Also, I've been here for years and have seen all sorts of unique maps. I know what is original and what is just not good enough. I'm a very, very active member of the community and I am almost always on the forums. I can give constructive criticism in a really detailed way that gives the creator the right idea. What are you're motives for joining this team? - Have some discussion with the others, have something to do when I'm bored, contribute even more to Avicus, teach people some things they probably never knew about, and overall just having a fun time judging all sorts of unique maps.
IGN - Smiley Skype - nightfire7777 Timezone - CST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I have participated in map testing sessions in Avicus and given feedback during those. I was present during both Walls and Destroy the Monument map testing sessions before and I enjoyed doing it! How could you benefit the Team? - BRINGING SOME SMILES-- Jokes aside, I can offer detailed feedback to the various things I would be judging on this team. I am active on Avicus and enjoy playing it. I also enjoy giving feedback to different things on Avicus. A contest judge is something I'm very interested in being! I can work hard for this committee whenever necessary. What are you're motives for joining this team? - I wish to participate in Avicus events/committees more and to be more interactive with players! Working with a team of people is something I do best! I am a firm believer in more contests on Avicus, so this would also be helpful in that
IGN - Jahaj Skype - jahaj12 Timezone - CST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I give a lot of feedback on maps and I have done all of the map testing events recently and gave some feedback on those. Also, I have been here for a while so I can give pretty good feedback on maps. In addition, I have tried making maps before, but they didn't turn out very well How could you benefit the Team? - I can give constructive criticism and feedback well, and I am able to put my effort and time into judging maps. I am really good with working with other people, too. What are you're motives for joining this team? - I would really like to help Avicus out a bit and it would be a lot of fun to have a say in something. I also might learn some things about maps to inspire me to create my own in the future!
IGN - SeekingAPerhaps Skype - mrpwnzmkw Timezone - PST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I am a very experienced builder in minecraft, and I also have been on a build team for my friends server. I feel like I have a good eye for maps and can provide excellent feedback for them. I have not really stepped toward the mapping community in Avicus but I want to contribute in things like this. How could you benefit the Team? - Being an old Build Team/MapDev (On Other Servers) I have the experience and can give very useful criticism to the maps being submitted. I pay attention to very important details and put every point into consideration when judging. I have a lot of spare time and will take a lot of time and effort judging the maps. What are you're motives for joining this team? - I want to get involved in important things in this server, to help everyone out, to get to know new people, and to refresh my map-making techniques.
IGN - _Rilo Skype - rilomilothe9123 Timezone - AEST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I have made 3 maps for avicus. I have made 2 walls maps (1 accepted and the other in testing). I also make walls maps which not much people do. How could you benefit the Team? - I could help with designs, themes and ideas. I love doing these kind of things. Not to have an opinion on a map, I do it because I want more maps on avicus. What are you're motives for joining this team? - As I said in "How could you benefit the team" I love giving feedback on maps so they can be accepted/improved. I really want this job because I am into these kind of things.
IGN - Tynvale Skype - TynvaleTop5 Timezone - AEST How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I have only built one official map and that was for one of these competitions. I made it with Eric and we won it, so that's my only experience in map making itself but I am a really active regular and I have played a lot of maps which gives me somewhat of an idea on what makes a good/enjoyable map. How could you benefit the Team? - I think that I can bring some creativity to the team and I work quite well in a team. I am friendly and open to any ideas/suggestion given to me, I also think that this can get me more involved in the map making community. What are you're motives for joining this team? - I think a main motive is to help the community as well as bring some fresh blood to the team, I would think about the maps gameplay and if it could work well in public matches. I would also consider how the map would work with different position, basically making sure the maps are good for rushers, defenders and everyone in general.
IGN - RileGuy Skype - live:rpreator0520 Timezone - CST (Central Standard Time) How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I have built about 3 maps for Avicus, 1 of which is currently being changed to 1.7, 1 which is being tested, and 1 which is being reviewed. I also comment a lot on other people's maps to help give good/constructive feedback as well as helping people out with their builds. How could you benefit the Team? - One of the ways that I could help to benefit the team would be bringing different ideas to the team. This means that I am creative with some of the thoughts that I have. I love some of the more "different" maps and I like to take them into review in all different ways fully when looking at them them. What are you're motives for joining this team? - Some of my motives for joining the teams is to help many users begin to start making maps. I know that there is a lot of people out there that want to build them and they just can't because they say they don't have the talent. I can give as much feedback is needed in order for that person to return with a successful map. I remember when my maps first started out and I was horrific, and now I am slowly getting better at my maps. I want to make the contests seem fun and exciting so that they can have contests more often.
IGN - resepignev Skype - flo.schmenni Timezone - GTM +2 (Berlin) How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - I made 13 maps in total, 9 were accepted, 6 were in the rotations and only 2 of them are left in the rots. I also made some collaborations with RileGuy and Running_Boy_12 and I worte various ymls for other people. I'm quite good in making yml files and can spot mistakes easily. Sadly I kind of lost my inspirations and I made my last map around 6 months ago xD How could you benefit the Team? - I can help with ymls, like finding mistakes or redoing them. I also have some ideas for future Contests. What are your motives for joining this team? - I would like to work in a team with some amazing mapmakers. Maybe you can help me to find my inspiration again. I want to learn what feedback is the best to give so mapmakers can make their maps perfect. (and I want some infos for the avicus facebook and twitter page xD)
IGN - Myv Skype - don't have it... Timezone - GMT (London, Lisbon, Belfast) How have you contributed to the mapping community on Avicus? - Despite not having actually made any maps for the community, I believe I have given strong feedback on many maps that have been published on the forums and when they first arrive in game, by getting in touch with the Devs ingame.
