Is it legit if.. by zdq December 8, 2014 at 4:12 PM UTC

You set an autoclicker to the speed that you click at? Because I can control jitter clicking at 14 cps but I'm worried that I will get arthritis if I carry on, so I was wondering if I could set an autoclicker to 14 cps since the only advantage I'm getting is not harming my body over a game...

KalinD December 8, 2014 at 4:12 PM UTC

autoclick is hak, so not legit i guess

Notalgicular December 8, 2014 at 4:12 PM UTC

yes its illegal.

EinfachNalor December 8, 2014 at 4:12 PM UTC

Would say the same.

garsdef December 8, 2014 at 4:12 PM UTC

i can get 50 cps but im worried my arm might fall off
can i do this as well????

But I thought the reason autoclicker wasn't allowed is because some people set it to 30 cps and walk into people combo'ing them, however in this case I'm setting it to a click speed that is reasonable and I CAN achieve. I just don't want to risk getting an illness over a game.

Autoclicker isn't allowed as it gives an advantage over people who don't have it. Same as every hack.
And your telling me that EVERY single time you pvp, you pvp at 14 cps? And cps constantly?

Oh yea, didn't think about that! My cps fluctuates it sometimes goes above 14 cps but I know where you are coming from xd

this can be locked or whatever ;3

EDIT: Wait, if I did jitter would I end up with messed up hands?

Tarheelkiwi December 8, 2014 at 5:12 PM UTC

Like Nolan said it is illegal.  It's not worth it to injure yourself over a video game.

If you were to constantly jitter click for several hours a day, for several years, you would most likely get injured somehow. I doubt they'd all of a sudden get "messed up", though.

Dyspa December 8, 2014 at 6:12 PM UTC

No, you would have a better aim anyway and that's not fair.

He can click that fast and control it. I've seen him play and 1v1'd him several times. If you can provide proof of you jitterclicking at whatever speed, imo you should be able to a set macros/autoclicker at that speed. There's been lots of people who get problems with their hands because of jittering.

But it's illegal on the server as is.

EDIT: Ofc you can't always be clicking at 14, as that would be unfair. But if you want to get into really high levels of PvP you need better cps. If you see 1v1s on famous PvPer's channles, if one of them stopped jittering they'd get steamrolled by the other because of such a huge difference in cps. The person who'd stopped jittering would have one hell of a time trying to hit the other tbh.

It's illegal on any server.

"you should be able to a set macros/autoclicker at that speed"
It doesn't matter if your top cps is 12, if you cannot stay at a constant 12 cps, but when you use autocliker you can... it gives you a clear advantage. It is comical to even consider it being legal.

"There's been lots of people who get problems with their hands because of jittering."
I think I found a pretty good solution for this ... don't jitter click q:^)

MidnightBeats December 8, 2014 at 9:12 PM UTC

Let's put this into perspective.

Let's say a player came onto the server and began playing walls. He was already aware of the fact that hacks are not allowed and that he would get banned for it.

However, he has the X-Ray hack installed and his intention is to only use it to find gold, and nothing else.
He gets caught by a moderator, and tries to explain to the mod that he was only using it for gold. He will still be banned, in my opinion.

Essentially, what I'm saying is this: hacks are hacks. No matter how much you sugarcoat it, they will always have an unfair advantage.

that example didnt really fit
maybe if the person said "i already know where the gold is, but xray makes it easier to find"

I can agree that it was a pretty bad example, but I just wanted to make my point across.

If it's a matter of personal health, but still wanting to be at that high level, it's a little more serious :P

Crusty's worries are definately warranted. But at the same time, to compete with people at his level he needs jitter. When people get to a certain point in PvP they will get trashed without jitterclick, as almost everyone at their level knows how and uses it.

Just don't jitter click, it's that simple.

"When people get to a certain point in PvP they will get trashed without jitterclick, as almost everyone at their level knows how and uses it."
This isn't true at all. You don't need to jitter click to be good at PvP.

Did I say you need jitter to be good? No I didn't and nowhere did I state that. But if for example ComboDombo and OBraveOne are 1v1ing and one stops jittering while the other continues they're going to get facerolled. No questions asked. When you get to a really high level and you want to be able to compete, unless you're a god-teir PvPer you need jitter to help you along against people at your skill level because everyone knows how to jitter at that level.

It seems you haven't even read tbh. If you're going to make a point cover everything and don't leave out important parts.

First point:
as I said, if you want to be able to compete with other people at that level. And you seemed to convieniently leave that out.

Second point: People at their level. Notice another key part conveiniently left out. And nowhere did I say that or do I believe that. Ex: Stan, DGB, Trail, etc., etc. would kick the shit out of me even without jitter b/c they're at a way higher skill level than me. I chose these people as they're better known in the community here and in PvP in general.

If you're at a really high level...something that you wouldn't understand. Does Jozz need jitter to compete? No. Does Boxings_ need jitter to compete? No. But if facing people who can jitter at their level, which would be a lot of people, it's next to nessicary, really.

He doesn't seem to understand .-.
I'm trying to explain my point and he starts shit from my PoV...

I find holes in his arguments and I point them out. I was discussing until he made his recent comment. Which I'm still trying to be logical with.

I wanted to explain the logic behind my points...I was just having a neutral debate tbh...or trying to at least. I wasn't mad or pissed whatsoever...but it seems like I still need to explain certain things.

His decision to turn it ugly with his last comment didn't exactly make me the happiest person alive, but I still try to use logic in my arguements. I was pointing out that there was key parts left out and now D00Z seems to be grabbing at any half point to get back at me...

You don't need to jitter click to compete with higher level PvPers. Yes, it has it's benefits, but you don't need it.

Honestly, this argument isn't even what the topic is about. Back to the main point, autoclicker will never be legal for PvP, period.

1. You're missing my point. I'm saying you're taking the game much too seriously. Looking up to good players as idols is just ridiculous.

2. Last time I checked it's D00ZiE finding holes in your excerpts. You're both discussing the validity and logic behind your arguments. Don't vilify him simply because he doesn't agree with you.

I'm not going to say anymore after this because I would rather not have this continue because it's not worth it.

But I just wanted to clear up that I do not look up to those players as "Idols". I just recognize their skill and aknowledge that as a fact. Anyone who knows me also knows that I'm not much of the fanboy type. They could rek me and I aknowledge that. Just because I aknowledge their skill doesn't mean I respect them or look up to them in any way as such (no hate).

I'm not as serious as you think, I'm just passionate in terms of my beliefs. xP
And I just have a lot of ideas to write xD

JOHN_CENAAAAAAAA December 8, 2014 at 11:12 PM UTC

I jitterclick like crazy and don't have any health issues from it at all. If you're that worried about it, either stop jitterclicking or you may want to find a new game.

Anyways, sorry, but it's illegal.
