that "what materials do you need to make shears" question is kinda dumb... I would say 2 iron instead of 2 iron ingots. If you're pvping and you ask your friend for 2 iron, are they going to go find 2 iron ore? or 2 iron blocks? or 2 iron helmets? No, if you aren't specific, its ingots. That's a pretty well known thing. Also, almost no one played minecraft in infdev, that doesn't really calculate how good you are...
