What was it like on your first day on avicus/mczone/terrascape whatever it may be. My friend gave me the ip, and I said It looked boring. I then played it on my first day, and just quit for 1 hour, then went back on and it was so much fun xD
Lol, same here as you! :D I joined I think a few weeks/months after McZone turned into Avicus, the hub was awesome, and I remember how you could have been flying around as a prem. member... First Map was Rendezvous I, Blue side.
joined played ternio, it was in the time i did not know how to turn iron ore into an iron ingot. then slowly i learnt to bridge etc and here i am today shitter 7 cps gg
Avicus was my first ever server. I hadn't been able to get access to a functional PC for over three years, and when I finally did (for Christmas) I instantly got minecraft, looked up some server IPs and added a cool looking Skywars server: Avicus. I think my first map may have been Quintus or Fantasy, and up until a week or so later I had no idea where the monuments were so I just ran around and explored with my friend Beggstar.
I thought the monument was the middle block of the spawn until someone told me..
EDIT: rooty44, Meganlovesmining and Kennedy123, my babes, I still remember our walls gang. <3
Older brother played it, I believe Ternio was the first map he/we played. He made a bunker and sniped the hell outta the enemy. :D I got super hyped for the server, and when it was my turn, I played for 2 hours straight (which isn't really that much anymore)
I started playing this server when it was called MC Zone and played a game mode where you're invisible and you must kill the other team to win... I miss that game... ;-; Also played Nebula, and I still miss the shop they had back in the day... :(
My friend gave me the ip and we played walls together. Then I went into this game mode called nebula, and saw some crazy assortment of sky bridges on Quintus. I instantly fell in love with the server and began to play more and more often :) By the way OCN has the same gamemode and its called Ghost Squadron. Never really understood it :/
I played minecraft offline, because we had limited internet (10 gigs a month, rip) but then we got unlimited so i looked up how to play walls online, because my friend showed my a walls video. And it sent me to wallsmc.net, my first ever server, i joined and i had no clue how to join a walls game, so i took the tutorial at spawn, and i learned about Elimination and played that for awhile and i found it fun :)
I was a regular on the Overcast Network when one day Howsie posted an AMA explaining how he was a Manager on this server called the Avicus Network. So I hopped on to see what it was like.
I remember being disappointed initially because I had about half a second of bow lag between me clicking my mouse and the arrow actually firing. That first impression wasn't the best so I didn't go on for a month before coming back. When I came back I made my first topic, introduced myself to the community and settled in. The more I played the less bow lag I seemed to be getting, which was good. It was at this time where I was becoming less interested in Overcast and more interested and involved in Avicus.
That was almost 2 years ago Now I'm one of the more experienced Moderators on the staff team, I'm well known in the community and I've made friends who have had an impact on me both in-game and real life who I'll treasure forever.
First thing I did when I joined McZone was play skywars and each game I would trap my team in a big tree then blow them all sky high with TNT so I can have all the resources to myself.

My first day was when I was at a friend's birthday party and we all hopped on Minecraft (there were like 5 of us) and someone showed us this server. I kind of felt left out because all of my friends were hacking and trying to get me to get hacks, but I didn't want to (and didn't know how). We played a bunch of walls games and always won because of them! Fun times, it feels like it happened yesterday in fact.
My friend once randomly gave me the ip to McZone and I started to play. I remember the first map I played on was Frostbite and that's why it has become one of my favorite maps.
I added my friend's, friend on Skype and saw 'mczone.co' on his profile. I ask him what it is (I think you know where this is going) and it turns out it's a Minecraft IP. I join the server and never left.
The first time I played on here I didn't like it much and left for a couple of months. Getting bored of OCN, I started to play other servers when I remembered this. Came back, played, and have stayed here ever since.
I used to play with school friends and we were all reeeeaaally bad! xd they dont play anymore because apparently being 18 makes you too old for minecraft... pffft no
I played on someone else's account that introduced me to the server, and I played Camp Erbosi. I was such a noob, but I decided to try and get better so I continued playing when I got my own account.
Everyone from McZone was very hyped for the release and a group consisting of FTW, Cow, CocoLatteSauce, and other mods and players were waiting for the launch (I don't remember if we were all at the mczone lobby waiting for the release). I got to meet so many new people after the launch and we immediately started talking on Skype to one another and played pretty much the entire day! It was fun...
