Mine is probably this weird shellfish thing that looks like a snail!!

I work in a seafood department for a supermarket and I get to try some of the stuff. Roe is pretty nasty, (from wikipedia) "the fully ripe internal egg masses in the ovaries, or the released external egg masses of fish and certain marine animals". It tastes really salty, sort of like that spreadable ham paste or something.
