It's some pretty interesting news, and there's an off topic sub forum just for these types of discussions.

So much press for such a small event in comparison to what goes on daily in Syria, Israel, Iraq it really breaks my heart seeing all the support, money and help this will get when little to no effort is made in these crisis countries.

I agree completely, alas this is not a norm in these countries. People dying no matter what race, is terrible. Of couse Syria is terrible; however, we cant do anything about Syria anymore.

How can we not if the UN really tried and put effort towards it the conflict could have been quite comfortable resolved.

Western media is the biggest poison of the world.

All problems like this should be mourned for, it bugs me too that that's going on. :/

The UN cannot do anything. The fact that majority votes need to take place completely ruin the system. The United States and the World, could and can end it if they actually send some military force to end Bashar Al-Assad.

So saddening. My thoughts and prayers are with the French people.

its more of a European crisis so it would be more for the eu to sort out as opposed to the un, but aside from that, how do you realistically think "the conflict could have been quite comfortably resolved"

News:
The Eiffel Tower has turned off all of their lights for respect of the people who lost their lives today.
France is having an emergency meeting about the event that happened today
Belgium has closed all of its borders for the time being

steven5703 November 14, 2015 at 12:11 AM UTC

Apparently the reports about the fire is "false and old". Could be wrong though...

PieZ November 14, 2015 at 12:11 AM UTC

France's president to walk to streets of the event later tonight
Belgium's borders closed apparently a hoax
Many leaders will not make the G20 meeting because of this event

Ok why the heck did i not know about this until a minecraft forum post showed me....

GuyNamedRiley November 14, 2015 at 4:11 AM UTC

The reason that they do it is because they believe what they are doing is right. They believe that anyone who doesn't agree with them is wrong and therefore they have to change. And by change they mean die.

FrozenSolstice November 14, 2015 at 4:11 AM UTC

What the fuck.

Condolences to all those affected, and I hope this stops soon.

Seriously, why the fuck is this even happening?

^^^^^^

We all have different mindsets, we support and agree on different things. What we think is wrong, to them is right. And because they think it is right, they want to spread it, through these acts.
