What Is Going On? by _DipperPines July 5, 2016 at 1:07 PM UTC

Ok, I want to know what is going on. So a bunch of people and I have made maps and they have gotten no notice as far as I can tell. Furthermore, there was even a thread similar to this in Ask the Seniors and that hasn't gotten a response. I get that the Map Devs are busy with Atlas stuff but can you not take 5 minutes to give us your input on our maps?

-Thank You for your time

They d̶o̶ ̶n̶o̶t̶ ̶c̶a̶r̶e̶ ̶a̶b̶o̶u̶t̶ ̶i̶t need 2 or 3 y̶e̶a̶r̶s weeks to review your map, but they are s̶l̶o̶t̶h̶s buzy at school (even in summer?) and they are converting o̶u̶r̶ ̶n̶e̶r̶v̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶m̶a̶d̶n̶e̶s̶s YML to XML last 3 or more months (1 month would be enough, imo).
Don't forget, that they all are k̶i̶d̶s̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶e̶e̶n̶s volunteers, so they have no r̶e̶s̶p̶o̶n̶s̶i̶b̶i̶l̶i̶t̶y salary for this work.

And notice how there have been staff on the forums, but none have responded to this.

Yeah the old system was much better.

Back when i was mapdev if people said shit like this we would delay reviewing the map even more. I get that you're frustrated but insulting them won't help.

Jahaj July 5, 2016 at 5:07 PM UTC

I'll notify the map devs, cannot give an official response however.

Legoche July 5, 2016 at 5:07 PM UTC

Tut tut tut, lazy mapdevs.

Han_So_Hyun July 6, 2016 at 11:07 AM UTC

Hi DipperPines_12!
I really enjoy taking a look at your maps!
They are really astounding!
It must have taken quite some time to get those out of your head and putting them in minecraft.
I couldn't do that!
You are really great!
I actually think you should be a MapDev (I think I already told you this)
But anyways, stay strong, and hang in there!
Someone will take notice of you soon! (I REALLY hope!)
Keep up the good work!
Oh, and see you in game!

Jahaj July 6, 2016 at 8:07 PM UTC

I'll be locking this thread since it has gotten a bit off topic and the author has requested it.
