It's funny how many people think negative about Trump! Watched too much TV?

We will see how Trump makes America great again, just be patient.

Both of the candidats was bad. I think Trump can fix us economy, but he will fuck the rest up xd (at least I think so)

We will have to wait and see ;)

How is Trump bad? So many people keep saying that but I only see arguments from 1/10 who say that.

He's just something "new" or "special" ;)

SamuelJacob9 November 9, 2016 at 11:11 AM UTC

I would actually rather Trump than Hillary. I am not American myself (I'm Australian), but both of these candidats weren't the greatest. Pretty funny how Hillary was so confident earlier in the election aswell. xd

why?

vladthegreat100 November 9, 2016 at 11:11 AM UTC

Its time for the Mexicans to pay up the money that Trump needs to build the wall as he promised!!!

Better not kill America as Canada is sustained quite a bit with America.

Arcane_Horror November 9, 2016 at 11:11 AM UTC

why?
Are you serious? Who would want an alien from outer space to lead the US?

resepignev November 9, 2016 at 1:11 PM UTC

TBH what if his behavior in the campaign was just to attract voters and eventually winning the election.
Maybe he doesn't go after the goals he proposed. He just said what the people wanted to hear in order to win.
His actual goals may are still secret and he'll reveal them when he gets sworn in?

I think he will be a good president...

dev_revs November 9, 2016 at 2:11 PM UTC

If he was SO bad trust me he wouldn't of got that many votes. He also won most of the democratic states..hmm.. yeah tells me they are fed up.

Mexico is not going to pay nor build for this wall, due to the circumstances in their country. Many people seek freedom and they go to the US for it.

I like how most of the people outside the US hop aboard the 'Anti-Trump bandwagon' without having any political knowledge.

Politicians lie to gain voters, it happens all around the world and if you really think Trump will do half the stuff he says then...

MrDogPT November 9, 2016 at 4:11 PM UTC

I have faith in him, I do think he won't do most of the things he said.

That's exactly the problem though. He's a hypocrite. He claims that politicians lie, yet he is doing it himself.

Every politician lies. It's not something we can change but something we have to accept.

Myworld6 November 9, 2016 at 4:11 PM UTC

But it was one of the main reasons why people hated Hillary, because she lied a lot. Trump did the same, so how is he any better?

Ask Trump supporters why they voted for him then?

I personally prefer him over Clinton because he speaks his mind, however ridiculous it might be.

Also if he isn't lying and really wants to pass these policies he'll have to go through congress first.

Myworld6 November 9, 2016 at 4:11 PM UTC

I did. Clinton is a liar who can't be trusted with state secrets.

No, he's a businessman. He says what he knows the people want, with no plans on fulfilling it. That makes him even less trustworthy than Clinton.

Most of Congress is Republican as of now, a great deal of whom support Trump.

profbananaslug November 9, 2016 at 4:11 PM UTC

this is what Hillary gets for pandering to minorities.
the silent majority stands with trump.

Myworld6 November 9, 2016 at 4:11 PM UTC

Just a heads-up for people saying that Trump won the majority of the votes, Hillary Clinton won 47.6% (59,092,337 ) of the national votes, whilst Donald Trump won 47.5% (58,967,470) as of the end of the vote counting. The reason why Trump won is because of the First Past The Post system, which the American democratic system takes to a ridiculous degree. Trump won because the states he won were worth more points, not because he had more votes.

Ok, i'll just write down 2 arguments, but feel free to ask for more ;)

Even though Trump is a m(b?)illionaire now, he have experienced bankruptcy in his life. Ofc he have done it very well in total, but this means even he is not always right. Think about this, when he wins (as he very often do), he wins big, but when he loses big, the whole us will get even more economy problems then they have now...

I don't really think a person which have said: And when you're a star they let you do it. You can do anything. Whatever you want. Grab them by the p***y.
He even rates women from 1 - 10, and he's not afraid to tell them if there's something wrong with you.

Bloodoh November 9, 2016 at 7:11 PM UTC

I do not think states are done polling the votes yet. When he won PE, they kind of just dropped it because it didn't matter anymore. But honestly it doesn't matter anymore.

It's probably fake, even if it were true, I'd be great-full for that, and I know we wouldn't be paying for that wall.
Know who else would be great-full? The Americans who will be immigrating to Canada. Legit yesterday when Trump was announced that he won, the Canadian immigration website had been crashed due to too many people going on it at once.

Arcane_Horror November 9, 2016 at 8:11 PM UTC

vladthegreat100 November 9, 2016 at 8:11 PM UTC

It was not.

There probably won't be many people coming over as it's pretty hard to immigrate to Canada, but the immigration website did crash last night due to high traffic

Whilst I did not want Trump to win, he does actually seem quite genuine.

And don't assume stuff, as it probably isn't correct.
I reckon it won't be much different to Obama, which if this is true, will be fantastic (Obama was a great President.)

This is coming from a Briton so I am unfamiliar with American politics, but I think Clinton and Trump were both unacceptable candidates in my opinion.

But as I said, you never know, he may be good.

I feel sorry for Obama. He was an honest guy and could have been a great president, but Congress vetoed everything he tried to do so now he's seen as a seat-warmer. =(

ImRaging November 9, 2016 at 10:11 PM UTC

What i find stupid is that the election works similar to how it does in britian with seats and that yet hillary got more votes

surely this means that more americans wanted hillary? Yet trump gets in because of how the system works

More americans did want Hillary, but the americans that gave her the most votes probably belonged in the same state, since I think it goes by majority rules or something

Well Canada's economy relies quite a lot on the U.S. for exportation and importation as the States are our main source of importation and exportation .
So if something happens, it will probably affect Canada.
So Canadians get a say!!!

lactify November 10, 2016 at 12:11 PM UTC

Trump won, and all we need to do is wait and see what implications he is going to place in. While he came up with extremely ridiculous ideas, its best to see how this will plan out.

I, myself didn't really care about who would win since it's Politics isn't really something I consider following to a high degree. But since this is the main news and headlines right now, I am catching up with it all.

We must wait and see.

IcyCode November 10, 2016 at 12:11 PM UTC

Trumps campaign was like the UKIP campaign during Brexit, it played to people's fears scaring them about immigration, the economy etc. that's why he won. He not once explained economically how he was going to fix the economy just that he would and then he spent the rest of the time making accusations against Clinton even tho he had way more against himself. Rip
