It has taken me a long time to build this and even longer time to get footage and render it (because am such a nub), but I think I am finally ready to realease it.
For those who don't know what an FPU is, it's basically the most complicated part in a CPU. What makes it so complicated is that it doesn't calculate with normal binary numbers and integer numbers, but with floating point numbers instead. In 32bit: Greatest number: 3.402823466.....E+38 Smallest number: 1,175494350.....E-38
My FPU can perform addition(and subtraction by adding a positive with a negative number),Multiply, Divide and calculate the squareroot.
You showed all these videos to me before Zero! I remember because we were talking about your channel and you showed me all the funny clips you have unlisted, I told you that you should do that for your channel and you went on to show me this and my brain crashed! I hope this goes somewhat viral for you because you deserve it, this put Sethbling to shame!

damn man you seriously went tryhard on this. this is just unbelievable, I do sort of understand the idea of FPU's but it's very complicated to think about. Serious though, this is great I hope this catches like a high redstone youtuber most likely SethBling and he shares it or something.

You took 3-4 months to make it, so I'm assuming you took 5-6 months to get footage and render???

XDD not exactly, but it has taken me a long time to encourage myself to make the video in the first place
*bump* posted 2 new videos: first explaining how floating point works (you have to have knowledge about binary though) and second one about where everything in the FPU is and how it works
If you want to have a harder challenge, create a CORDIC computer c:
The divider and multiplier already usw the cordic algorithm ! One day maybe i will be able to do trinomic operations xd. I habe to learn that myself or wait till we learn it in Scholl first though :cc

congrats on hitting 1k views on it. i can see this going somewhat viral ^_^
People are sharing it all over the place
