Hey guys now this is a little different but it pertains to minecraft singleplayer. Today i was finishing my prison i was building when i took a look at some of the signs i had around the place. every sign had the word null on them. i don't have screenshots because i broke the signs in fright. I didn't type the word null. some of the signs looked like this:
"Hospital" null null null first of all those "" i didn't type and the null stuff i can't even explain. I check Youtube about this and this is what i found https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHd5YBDwNrA please check this out and reply to me. Please no hate comments because i am quite scared. Thank you
It's probably just a glitch with Java, Herobrine doesn't exist and never will.
Edit: "null is the reserved constant used in Java to represent a void reference i.e a pointer to nothing. Internally it is just a binary 0, but in the high level Java language, it is a magic constant, quite distinct from zero, that internally could have any representation." - http://mindprod.com/jgloss/null.html

i think the video is fake. null is just a glitch, usually I see it with world edit, sometimes when I copy/paste signs, it either is blank, or says "null"
i got it on my singleplayer worlds as well. it's a glitch when updating 1.7 worlds to 1.8. don't worry about it, nothing bad will happen, you just have to replace the signs :)
null means zero in german too. I had to meantion it.
