What type is yours?

Well, I have a headset called the "SkullCandy SLYR" it's compatible with: Xbox, PSN, And laptops. The built in mic also has a good reach to your mouth. (Not to close or too far).

EarForce P11.

Quite easy to break if not looked after, but me and my brother both have a pair and they have lasted us years. Just take care of it.

I personally love the look of the Turtle Beach px22 don't have it personally but i plan to get it and i've heard great things.

You can convert Beats into use for talking, although I'm not sure how.

I have a £110 Game mic, and that's good enough (although it's for PS4 only.)

You broke a $60 headset? Nice...
I use the Turtle Beach Pla (http://www.amazon.co.uk/PLa-Playstation-3-Headset-EU/dp/B008HB4GZE) is says it's for PS3, but I'm a rebel. It's great for the price, but if you really want outstanding quality, then invest in one of the other headsets listed above. I'm use that purely for TeamSpeak.
For listening to music, Beats by Dre Studio. Yes it's not the cheapest set of noise makers, but trust me. It's. Worth. It.
