I seem to remember 1.2.4, 1.4 and 1.6 being pretty memorable versions (I think...). Also going from Alpha to Beta was so exciting!

This was the update when I first started playing Minecraft.

Since then, I think I'd have to say 1.7, those biomes were beautiful when I saw them first the first time!

IMO 1.4 was the last good update..
1.5 i didnt care much about but it was fine. The new updates are just bad.

I started playing in 1.6.4, so that's pretty memorable. 1.7.2 was probably my favorite, because rushing got a lot easier with the sprint button.
