So, i downloaded the 5Zig mod for 1.8.8 and it worked fine, I also downloaded the 1.7 old animations mod and it installed fine, but now when I go into minecraft and click "Play" I crash and I can't play... Please help :(

I had the same experience with mods. Mm..do you have more mods downloaded, except the ones you mentioned above? If so, take all of the mods out except one, then open minecraft. If it doesn't crash, add in one by one and open minecraft each time you do so. That way, you can see what is causing your minecraft to crash. But, if you only have those two mods, check if they are compatible with one another. If it still crashes, let me know, I will test it out myself :D Best of luck Samuel!

When I use Mods I always make sure that they are all the same versions, so I know that they will all work because when I get wrong versions it will always go wrong for me.

Thanks guys, is working now.. Just need to figure out how to get this animations mod (for mac)... please don't lock btw :)

Put the 1.8 mod into the .minecraft/mods/1.8/ folder and the 1.7 mod into the .minecraft/mods/1.7/ folder if it isn't already like that.
