Any Good, Cheap Mics? by BoldAndBrash August 27, 2014 at 6:08 PM UTC

Ok, so ive started a channel but my mic is p000p. So i was wondering, are there any good mics that give a clear sound?

Budget: $20-25

Good Mic and Cheap Mic usually don't go together. For $20 you won't get something with nice recording quality

You should save up so you can get a snowball. I heavily recommend it

I dont know about Mics very much but I suggest that you buy something that records your voice as it is, not a one that changes your voice completely ( It will be awkward )

A good mic would be hard to get in that range, it might be better for you to save up and get a head set instead.

Ok, any recommended headsets then?

Headsets will always rip you off.
If you want quality: Save up for the snowball and get a pair of decent headphones.
If you need a mic and headphone which isn't too good: Get a headset.

If you go the mic and headphone way, I recommend the blue snowball and audio technica's ath m30.

If you go the headset way: I recommend the turtle beach x12.

Oh and I should probably mention this, The Zalman Zm-Mic1 clip on mic is extremely good for it's $10~ price tag. (If your current mic really sucks)
