All i would need for that is a bow and a stack of blocks. He could probably have avoided fighting all of those guys altogether, and most of what he did was unnecessary.
I did leave, someone linked me to the post on Skype, and it would be hard to record it under those exact circumstances, but really all he had to do was instead of blocking himself in completely, leave a way out and then run to the other monument and block himself in, or, shoot them off when they tried to run across and then run to the other monument. (While he did shoot them, he didn't shoot them off)
