So yeah, I watched fishisea's trailer, I saw this feature where if people weren't holding there swords, it would get on to their back, like a holster-like thing. And I'm guessing this is 1.8? 


By the way, block-hitting works in 1.8, I don't know how, it sort of looks like normal blocking, but it still hits the selected target infront of the cursor.

Can someone explain if block-hitting was really removed or not, and also this new sword thingy.

People think that block hitting is gone *Which is not* because in 1.8 when you try to do that it just doesnt show the usual graphics... Idk why tho.. Mojang changed a lot.. Like when you take damage your hearts blink.. Which is going to be anoying for pvpers ._.

The blocking animation is now instant, so it looks different when you spam it. 
Blockhitting works fine
