What is your hotbar layout? by kycrafft August 1, 2015 at 5:08 AM UTC

I always waste time sorting my hotbar. Here's usually how it ends up:
  1. Sword
  2. Bow
  3. Pickaxe
  4. Gapple (food if no gapple)
  5. Axe
  6. Wood
  7. Other block/wood
  8. Glass
  9. Water or special map item
Anything after my gapple is usually blocks, if I don't have an axe. Special or utility items and food tend to go in the 9th slot for me. 

So how does yours look?

1. Sword

2. Bow

3. Pick

4. Gapple

5. Food/blocks when 6/7 is filled

6/7. Blocks/slabs and chest for rushing

8. Blocks or water bucket if 9 is axe

9. Axe/Water/Blocks


I am pretty much the same except I count axes as my utilities since I can't hot key 5 really well and I like slabs and chests for sneaky monument breaking in walls/floor

To be honest I just use the default configuration on Avicus. I only move things in my hotbar for PotPvP.

I have to change it every damn time or it just doesn't feel right.

1. Sword
2. Bow (arrows right above it)
3. Pickaxe
4. Gapples
5. Food
6. Block (usually glass)
7. Axe
8. Wood
9. Wood or water bucket

I normally use default layouts, unless I start making tools and items. It really depends on what I'm given in the map, and what I can make.

This is my usual pvp setup. Not avicus.
1. Sword
2. Rod
3. Bow
4. Gapples, health pots, soup
5. Pick
6. Axe
7. Cobble, Wood, Glass
8. Slowness splash or some other debuff
9. Poison splash or water bucket
