Question about CTW. by D00ZiE December 20, 2014 at 3:12 PM UTC

Will you be able to build in the void on all of the new CTW maps? I know on OCN you are not allowed to build in the void during a CTW game, so I'm curious to see if Avicus will follow this same rule.

I don't see why not :P After all, you need to bridge in Rendezvous II, Justice III, Arizona, Nucleus, Crossfire and Aquirion.

Answer is most likely "yes".

Yes, you will be able to build in the void.

Evo, will Justice 3, and Arizona be converted into CTW maps?

is there an option if youre a map maker to have it where you cant place blocks in void?

I don't think Avicus would support that.

You guys are misinterrupting my question. Yes, obviously you will be able to build in the void areas where you need bridge :P

My question is, will you be able to build on the side of the map. I don't think that you shohld be allowed to. This is how it is played on other serves and it works great.

Yes, there is an option in the YML configuration file where you can disable totally building in Void areas :)

In sincerely hope not, that would make CTW too easy to even be worth it.

Yeah, both of these maps will be converted into CTW

Regioning will be really hard..

It's worth it. The gameplay will be pretty much ruined if you can build on the side of the map :c

Side bridges = OP

True. I have seen on some scrimmage servers, they use invisible blocks and put them on the out side of the map  so you cant place blocks, this could be a good idea. (Half doors.)
