I've noticed that my gameplay is more laggy since the 1.8 update.  Or at least that's when I started noticing a difference, maybe not related.  It's effecting my recordings, so I want to fix it.

I play version 1.7.4 with optifine.  Could someone tell me the setting on MC to get the optimal gameplay by adjusting those settings?  Or if this has been posted before, a link?

It's a bug in 1.8, if you use java 32bit, upgrade it to 64bit. The bug is because the fps boost in the new version.
