Can't connect to ts by Lawl June 4, 2014 at 3:06 PM UTC

Whenever I try to connect to the AV teamspeak I get " Failed to resolve hostname 'ts.avicore.net' "
I've tried flushing my dns, but no luck so far.
Any help would be great :)

Joao_Victor June 4, 2014 at 3:06 PM UTC

ts.avicus.net is the TS IP.

What vlad and Nolan said.

I accidentally pasted when I tried avicore, but avicus also doesn't work for me

Bump ;/

ts.avicus.net should work. If it doesn't work the first time, click "Connect" again. That usually works for me. If that doesn't work, please take a picture of the error message you are receiving and put it here.

Try connecting twice in a row, in rapid succession. As soon as it says "cannot resolve hostname," try again. That often happens to me, and trying to connect a second time resolves the issue.

Still not working

Lieutenantpants June 4, 2014 at 6:06 PM UTC

Then your computer is likely blocking the port that TS is using. Fraid I won't be able to help you with that. Sorry. Others might be able to though.

This was a problem for Yoav and Cole as well, they fixed it by continuously uninstalling and reistalling TeamSpeak :P

Lawl June 4, 2014 at 8:06 PM UTC

Ok ima try that c:

Joao_Victor June 4, 2014 at 8:06 PM UTC

Also, you may have blocked the port that the Avicus TS uses. Can you connect to other TS servers?

Lawl June 4, 2014 at 9:06 PM UTC

I can connect to any other ts server with no problems

Yes, then your issue is that your computer is blocking that port. Unfortunately, I don't know how to direct you from there, but someone else should be able to. Google might be very helpful in this case.

What's the exact IP you're using to connect?

Bump...
I really need help with this
I know it's something to do with dns, since theres some other servers I can only connect to using the original IP which wasn't forwarded.

Maybe you havent let Teamspeak through your firewall?

Lawl June 28, 2014 at 10:06 AM UTC

I can connect to other servers.
And when I turn off my firewall completely, it still doesn't work.
