IMO, dual wielding will be fun and it will allow for more options in PVP. Imagine, if you have a sword and you need to switch to make some extra damage to a hard opponent.
Just dual wield a bow as well and go ham. Hell, even dual wield two bows and walk out like a champion gunslinger and light up your foes. You guys focus too much on the negatives. This will not ruin PVP, in fact it will add more depth to it.
And what's wrong with learning the ropes again? Only close-minded people and ones who cannot adapt will complain about this. You learned it once, you can learn it again.
And in what way does this make minecraft like COD? In Halo 3 you can dual wield, in Star Wars you can dual wield light sabers, in COD you only dual wield certain pistols and SMGs.

Please, stop this.
Dinnerbone has already confirmed that duel wielding bows will not work and if you were gonna duel weild two swords, you could only hit with one
