I don't know if I'm just stunned, but my compass doesn't work in the walls. It constantly points behind me, no matter what way I turn, it never changes direction. Is that normal? I've tried switching texture packs, restarting the game, etc. Nothing works.

Imma feel dumb if this is normal haha

Do you use Optifine ? If yes you have to turn the Item Animation on. Then it will works.
If you don't use Optifine, then I don't know how to solve it :D
