We're talking about EST here. BST is 5 hours ahead of EST GMT is 4 hours ahead of EST BST is a hour ahead of GMT
No, E Standard Time is UTC -5, and E Daylight Time is UTC -4 (GMT = UTC +0) So you are talking about EDT and continuing confusing us. Eastern cost now lives in daylight time, because it is summer. I don't know how to explain more to you... Read wiki maybe for the beginning.

You're still wrong buddy. Everyone turned up at the right time for the UHC, meaning my logic was correct. We're still using EST.

Actually, we are using EDT... when Daylight Savings Time began in March, all clocks in applicable regions of the world — this includes almost all of North America and Europe — had to spring ahead by an hour, changing the names of time zones from, for instance, Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) to signify that Daylight Savings Time is in effect. The difference is so trivial that regular people, like you, aren't even aware of it; all that really matters to us is what times our devices display, which is fine.
As long as both the time zones you're converting between are affected by Daylight Savings Time, the hour displacement stays the same — PST/PDT, my time zone, is always three hours behind EST/EDT.

I know that you're using EDT... I'm talking about the fact that in this post it says 'EST', so I'm using it to convert into BST. So what you told me wasn't really needed for me.

OMFG, you said BST is 5 hours ahead of EST, but NO. BST is 5 hours ahead of EDT and 6 hours ahead of EST Please, use proper names of time zones Or I'll shoot you :3

Either way, I couldn't care too much as I came 5 hours ahead and still came at the right time. It doesn't matter anymore as the time works for me. If there is a problem with the the timezone, contact the thread creator.
