How does it work? I voted and it said in chat I had extra xp but I didn't get a notification and didn't notice a difference in my xp bar..

you might have to do /redeem or something

its in the hub

After voting you must return to the hub. There will be an emerald that can gift you XP in any gamemode that you wish. You may have to relog.

Rejoin the server and you will get a XP Package, right click and choose for what game mode you want it for by left-clicking it. Glad it helped!
