Best Gaming Mouse by TheColdCrafter May 31, 2015 at 8:05 PM UTC

Since my mouse rn is crap, and i just had my bday,  i got some  money and want to buy a new gaming mouse. Budget is 75$
Tell me what i should buy ;)

Jahaj May 31, 2015 at 8:05 PM UTC

My mouse isn't necessarily a gaming mouse, but it is one of the best wireless mice out there: Logitech Marathon M705.

Sevoo May 31, 2015 at 8:05 PM UTC

Although this is debatable, I have the Razer DeathAdder. Around 80$, but I got it for 50$ sale. I love it, its ergonomic for right handed players, and has enough DPI. LED looks sick, and 2 extra side buttons. I suggect it.

Wireless or wired?

Emmaye May 31, 2015 at 9:05 PM UTC

Those "more expensive" Logitech mouses look pretty good IMO (and from what I have heard). Razer DeathAdder is decent/okay to use.

Wired, and I really do recommend wired, it gives better response.

Ok, sounds good. I think im getting it.

FrozenSolstice May 31, 2015 at 9:05 PM UTC

My first gaming mouse was the Razer Naga Red Edition. Really good mouse, I like it alot.

Milki May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

What type of gaming do you do the most? This factors HUGELY into a mouse.

FPS? MMO? MOBA? RTS? Or do you just do overall gaming?

Edit: If it's helpful, I right now own the Corsair M65; easily the best mouse for FPSing. AMA if you want.

Loo May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

I recommend the Logitech G502, look it up.

Milki May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

I recommend the Logitech G502, look it up.
Agreed; it's probably the best overall gaming mouse, goes from 200-12000 DPI, has a crapton of buttons, and the weight is tunable.

Retail price is $80, but it's currently $61 on Amazon.

Pavlo May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

G402, G502, G602 or g600
All of them are really good

One could make an argument to replace G602 with G700S.

steven5703 May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

I use Aula, it's not the best but it works for me!

Tarulas May 31, 2015 at 10:05 PM UTC

The razer naga is good

Sevoo May 31, 2015 at 11:05 PM UTC

Was gonna get it, but too much. I like how the DeathAdder is simple, yet very good.

Now that I have read up a little bit, I would advise AGAINST the DeathAdder.

Why? It simply doesn't last. Most people say that they start having a problem with the left click at about 6 months, which is quite lame for a gaming mouse.

Ive had my mouse for 7 months, I see no problem with it whatsoever.

PokerFace June 1, 2015 at 12:06 AM UTC

Amazon has a lot for under $20

_Phyre June 1, 2015 at 12:06 AM UTC

I owned a deathadder, and it became shit in just 3 months...
I also owned the Naga, then in a couple of months as well, started to double-click when I click it once.

Now I own a SSS (SteelSeries Sensei) Pretty decent mouse, the design is simple, has an orange LED in the middle, and so far no problems whatsoever.

Same......
Thats why I have SteelSeries now, very reliable.

I don't think you jitter click that much then :/ Mine broke in a couple of months...

Dyspa June 1, 2015 at 12:06 AM UTC

DeathAdder.
Overpriced but worth enough..

MLGtino June 1, 2015 at 1:06 AM UTC

I wouldn't recommend Razer products. The DeathAdder is probably the best mouse but most Logitech/Steelseries products are so much better.

Sevoo June 1, 2015 at 1:06 AM UTC

I dont, and I dont need to. All I need is to click with 2 fingers and thats almost as good as jitterclicking. Anyway, my aim is crap and my hand hurts easily. I can get 14 cps tho.

Pavlo June 1, 2015 at 3:06 AM UTC

Or that :P

Hudmister14 June 1, 2015 at 8:06 AM UTC

I would definitely get wired and I have the razer naga and it's great

So you basically macro. Anyway I have a Razer taipan I jitter click all the time and it has lasted a long time but it's abit on the expensive side.

Sho June 1, 2015 at 11:06 AM UTC

I've had my deathadder for about a year and it's working fine, I typically click around 13-14 cps.
But the software itself is so unreliable and sketchy, (also razor products being overpriced) plus I've heard so many incidents of razor products breaking in a short amount a time, so I DON'T recommend a razor product.
Maybe go with a steelseries rival, I heard good things about that (And people here are saying that it is.)

ChildBeaterZ June 1, 2015 at 11:06 AM UTC

apple Magic Mouse I jitterclick 16 cps with it rlly useful ergonomic grip feels and looks amazing

"10/10" -ign

Mango_ June 1, 2015 at 11:06 AM UTC

Logitech is the way to go in my opinion. I haven't tried any of their newer mice but you'll be happy with anything from their range.

I use a g502 only double tapping doesn't work that good first 100 times.

If logitech is selling any mouse which looks like a deathadder I would buy it

Sevoo June 1, 2015 at 12:06 PM UTC

Lol, I can get 14 CPS, but I have to hold my mouse with my left hand and jitter with the other. I don't use it in game, my aim is terrible. That's why my mouse haven't broken, I rarely do it.

Red Dragon

SWEET_Johny June 1, 2015 at 6:06 PM UTC

G502 is pretty nice. Customizable weights, different profiles you can switch through on the mouse, amazing logitech program, nice plastic and rubber mouse.

DaGoldBrick June 1, 2015 at 6:06 PM UTC

I love how people think clicking fast in minecraft actually makes that much of a difference lol.

I believe the Logitech G303 comes closest in terms of specs and design to the DeathAdder.

It's also on sale right now on Amazon at $50.

IMO I'd still go with a G502 since it's definitely the best overall mouse. Unless RGB lighting is a must.

nickdigger June 1, 2015 at 7:06 PM UTC

Apple Magic Mouse: The best mouse ever created.

I like the fact that you get more particles per hit, somehow makes my sim better, but dont ask me why. Other than that, I agree.

SWEET_Johny June 1, 2015 at 8:06 PM UTC

Oh shit, forgot about what mouse I had. Guess I did have the G502.

It does, after I started jitter clicking, I've been getting better combos on Badlion (Laglion) and kohi (Lohi)

Glitchaye June 2, 2015 at 2:06 PM UTC

Deathadder aint bad, but the right click is a little wierd so i cant speedrun a game i used to play

GrantInPhoenix June 2, 2015 at 3:06 PM UTC

i also could use a mouse, my current mouse is one of those regular a4tech work mouse wjfahvajwanhfc
and im planning on getting one for my birthday

i wanna get like a Steelseries mouse, one with no sidebuttons cuz im not rly into mice w/ side
buttons and ive tried it before and i didnt play well w/ it or feel comfortable w/ it

All Steelseries mice have side buttons.

In fact, the only gaming mouse I can think of that has no side buttons is the Logitech G100s, which isn't a very good mouse and is more of a low-budget mouse.

I could help you with finding a mouse you like, but you'd have to answer a few questions:
1. What type of games do you play the most?
2. What's your budget?
3. Any specific things you're looking for in a mouse? (for example, backlight)

DaGoldBrick June 4, 2015 at 10:06 PM UTC

That's a placebo, if you click 6 cps, any faster will only raise the ratio of the time in between the player being hit by clicking more, which, if you have good aim is pointless.

ballzi June 5, 2015 at 8:06 AM UTC

Any mouse would do. As long as it is your choice.
