Can somebody tell me where the add friend button is? I haven't met anybody who has found it in game maybe I'll get more luck on the forums... love you •*•

It  was on the old forums. You can go to old.avicus.net and friend others there. For some reason the button isnt on the new web

Basically what Bader said.

Im going to go out on a limb and say we will be adding it soon, but don't quote me on that. If we do end up announcing the addition of a friend button in the future I wouldn't know the exact date.
