erm... I might sound like a noob but does it really affect you with which type of mouse pad you use?

wollywinky June 26, 2014 at 10:06 PM UTC

Yes, it kind of does, but, it depends on the mouse.  For the death adder a sturdy yet soft, material does the trick :)  But generally it doesn't matter.

I don't think the mouse pad matters that much. I play with a Razer Naga, yet my mouse pad is from the bakery down the street.

UnicornSniper June 26, 2014 at 11:06 PM UTC

bakery for da win! (^_^)v  mah brothers want to get the razer mouse and keyboard, do these items even help with gaming o_O?

wollywinky June 27, 2014 at 4:06 AM UTC

lol I actully dont know...

Using a good mousepad isnt necessary, you can play fine without it, but a good mousepad is just as important as a good mouse, not necessary, but incredibly helpful and can massively improve performance. Also i just got the same mouse.Congrats. Also deathadder is longer lasting in general than naga and other razor product lines, and can hold out through a lot, but naga has more side buttons if you for some reason care

I bought that mouse and I instantly regretted it.

Or is it the older version idk.

The_Detonator_ June 27, 2014 at 6:06 AM UTC

Mouse pad makes no difference. From experience playing on a variety of surfaces frequently (Paper, wood, plastic, mattress, old desktop computer and carpet) It really does not make a difference.

CreeperJoe62 June 27, 2014 at 6:06 AM UTC

The naga is overpriced. You can get pretty much the same for £30http://www.amazon.co.uk/Redragon%C2%AE-Perdition-Precision-Programmable-Cartridge/dp/B00GXFDDL4/ref=...

Or for a bit more http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-G600-MMO-Gaming-Mouse/dp/B00CJAEZ82/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=14038509...

But back on topic gratz on the mouse!

I don't use mousepads, I hate them.

When I played without my mouse pad I destroyed my desk in about a week, it rubbed off the laminated cover.
