It always says "Connecting to the server..." 

Is it down in some sort of way, or does my internet just suck?

It takes a while for me to login to

Minimizing the screen helps me for some reason.

And ip-avic.us works better than skywars.co for me also.

Maybe restart your router aswell?

Just direct connect to specific server using (server).avic.us

For Example: I use mczone01.avic.us 

Just connect to something like that then just do /server (server name) to get to what ever you want to play
