As announced in the Map Development update, we will be having a fairly short session for builder applications. The reason for the application system is that we want to see what everyone is capable of doing instead of just watching over a specific person for the majority of time. The applications will be open until November 24th, then they will be reviewed and the results will be given out on November 28th.Some requirements that we look for in an applicant:
- Actively build maps that excel both in gameplay (such as having unique features in them, and being highly enjoyable when played) and aesthetically pleasing to the eye by using certain block combinations that match together, and unique shapes/looks as well.
- Have a good attitude in order to work well with others, show the team in a good light and improve approach-ability
- Be active on all Avicus services, mainly the forums & server
- Giving proper feedback to other map makers is very important, as it shows if you have the knowledge and ability to tell from maps that are worthy enough of being in the repository, or even rotations. It also shows us that you are able to give feedback and help others with map related content.
- Working well with others improves communication between the map developers and other builders and leads to more efficient build collaborations
NOTE: Abusing the form or making a troll application may result in a punishment.
