Ok, so i have seen some other servers with a rank like this and i thought that it would be great if Avicus would do it too.

The rank is called: Assistant or Helper, and they basically answer any questions that people have and help them with their needs

This would benefit the community quite greatly so that everyone can learn more about Avicus and rules, etc.

To apply (just what i think the requirements should be) you must have at least 5 days on Avicus and should be able to take a general knowledge test on Avicus.

I already answer people's questions all the time and have a fair understanding of the rules.
Your prerequisites for this rank are insanely easy to meet, which is why it won't work.

We don't need another staff rank, we have too many as is and this 'Helper' rank will literally serve no purpose.

Also, other servers may have a 'Helper' rank, but on Avicus, the equivalent of the 'Helper' rank is the 'Junior Moderator' rank.

managar ill admit was stupid, but it got removed I guess ill count that anyways

jr map dev is the same as jr mod, since most people will either need/want a trial for mapdev before being completely accepted.

media is for people to know who record/stream for avicus in tourneys/scrims and it will help people (public randies) know who record/stream if they ask them

I didn't say they stream in public matches? I said they stream in tourney matches. I'm saying if the people in public want to know what the rank does, then they CAN ask. It's also a way of figuring out who can regularly stream instead of getting diff. people every time

The only aspect that the both ranks share is that they are both event related.

Refs are in charge of making sure the match goes smoothly, they monitor every player in the match and they make sure everyone is constantly playing by the rules throughout the entire duration of the match.

I said live streamers don't livestream public matches.

Therefore a public rank is pointless. Because when a tourney isn't on, it sever's no purpose.

I am quite aware of that, the reason why I said livestreamers "hit a record button" is because the simplicity of that comment shows my disapproval of the rank. Of course, you don't just press one button and you're done xD

Look, I'm not saying that you specifically aren't good at your job, I'm saying the Media rank should not exist because as a whole, it serves very little purpose.

The rank would be pointless. But if you were to add the rank, they should at least be able to receive reports and spectate hackers and when they need someone punished or whatever reason, they call upon a higher staff member.
