I was checking out the old forums: old.avicus.net/forums when i discover you can add friends from their profiles! Just a little alternative way while the normal way is being added.

Please don't bump old topics.
As for your question though, you can go to their profiles, there should be a button which allows you to send them a friend request, and then you wait for them to accept it. Hope this helps :)
