Since about 3 days ago, whenever I go on the forums this keeps coming up : http://imgur.com/vo4yqv0 right next to the my discussions section and no one has even said anything new at my discussions. What can I do?

It is a glitch. Hit the "Mark All Read" button in the top right corner to fix it.
